So what is a protection plan?
A Guardsman Furniture Protection Plan is an underwritten insurance product for new furniture; it covers your furniture against life’s little accidents such as accidental staining and accidental damage.
Our aim is to keep your furniture looking good and in full use in your home; so wherever possible our network of repair technicians and cleaning specialists will always try to repair the damage! And if a repair isn’t possible, we will source new parts for you, or if they are not available, we will arrange for a replacement item to be ordered.
What am I actually covered for?
We’ll cover you for accidents to your leather or fabric upholstery, and your cabinet furniture.

How your Protection Plan works
If we can’t fix it, we won’t let you down!
When you have an accident, you simply make a claim by calling our UK call centre, or by going to the Guardsman website and downloading a claim form: www.guardsman.co.uk
Claim for as many incidents as you need over 5 years; you’ll have cover for parts, labour and replacement items up to the indemnity value of your plan. Your indemnity value is the price you originally paid for your sofa or €18,000, whichever is the lowest.
It differs from other insurance products and warranties because there is simply a one off fee you pay at the time of purchasing your new furniture, meaning there are no excesses to pay, or annual renewal costs.
